Arrow
precisionSelect the exact cell you want to land on this turn. Completely bypasses the random drop mechanic.
Never waste an Arrow on a regular room. Save every Arrow exclusively for Boss encounters or mathematically unwinnable rows.
Bubble
defenseGrants immunity to the next monster attack you receive. Does not protect against traps.
The best value item in the game at only 10 gold. Stock up whenever possible — carry 2-3 at all times.
Sun Potion
utilityImmediately recharges your Sun Power ability regardless of cooldown.
For the Lizard (cooldown 2), a Sun Potion effectively gives you 3 consecutive escape uses.
Bomb
offenseDestroys all monsters in a selected row. Does not affect traps or special cells.
Can be used to kill The Merchant and steal all shop items — but permanently closes all future shops this run.
Cluster Bomb
offenseDestroys one random monster in each row simultaneously.
Less precise than Bomb but affects the entire grid. Useful when every row has at least one monster.
Pile of Rocks
offenseTrigger a rockslide from your current position, destroying all cells in the row below you.
Situational — only useful if you can position above a lethal row you need to clear.
Throwing Stars
offenseRandomly eliminates between 1 and 4 monsters anywhere on the current grid.
Unreliable due to random targeting, but at 15 gold it is the cheapest offensive option.
Flute
specialPlay a melody in The Source room to trigger a unique special effect. Single use — breaks after one use.
Do not use the Flute carelessly. The Source event is one of the most powerful run-changers in the game. If the Flute breaks, find the Fountain Bird to repair it.
Fountain Bird
specialRepairs a broken Flute, restoring it to usable condition.
If you have a broken Flute, prioritize finding The Source room before spending gold elsewhere.
