Row choice is a bet on the worst cell
Each row has four cells. When you commit, you roll uniformly among them. Your decision should assume you might land on the worst outcome in that row unless you have items or Sun Power to change the situation.
Expected value vs survival
A row with three chests and one spike trap looks tempting, but if you are at 1 HP the correct play is often to avoid it. Sol Cesto rewards conservative play when you cannot absorb variance.
How Teeth change weights
Stone Teeth alter attraction percentages for traps, monsters, chests, and empty tiles. These modifiers stack and redefine what “safe” means for the rest of the run. Track trap attraction carefully — too much and the grid becomes unwinnable.
Items as probability overrides
Arrows remove positional variance for one drop. Bubbles hedge monster hits. Sun Potions reset Sun Power cooldowns so you can escape lethal rows more often. Treat them as tools to flatten bad distributions, not to farm greedily.
